BLACK MASS - Dress as if your soul depended on it

Black Mass began at the end of 2004 and ran until the end of 2005, 11 Black Masses in all. Black Mass was for a while official sanctioned by the Church of Satan and was a true one off. It also became home to the Satanic Sluts and allowed SS members to put on shows, to meet each other and to generally behave badly.

Banned from two venues, and on occasions shambolic Black Mass though could, at times, also be truly brilliant and was for many an inspiration and paved the way for many imitators.

Black Mass had a great visual style and design ethic and I wanted to get some of that flavour across by posting pictures of the eleven nights, the original, and now highly collectable flyers and by, later, writing a brief history. More will follow over time.
